Digitisation request
Items from the Boekentoren heritage collection can be digitised upon request by the scanning studio, which produces high-quality reproductions. The studio is fully equipped for the careful digitisation of fragile and valuable (documentary) heritage, in accordance with international standards. This is a fee-based service.
Digital reproductions are available for personal, academic, and commercial use, subject to the binding terms of use established by Ghent University. Depending on your intended purpose, you may be required to obtain additional rights.
Information about standard scanning requests for recent articles and book chapters can be found under Services, request article or chapter scan.
Requests for Digital Reproductions
A digitisation request can be initiated directly from the detail page of a collection item that is not yet available in digital form. Requests for non‑standard formats, series, or a large number of collection items can be submitted via libservice@ugent.be.
