Digitization request

Items from the Boekentoren heritage collection can be digitised upon request in high quality. This is a fee-based service.

Digital reproductions are available for personal, academic, and commercial use, subject to the binding terms of use established by Ghent University. Depending on your intended purpose, you may be required to obtain additional rights.

Requests for Digital Reproductions

Until the end of October 2025 already digitised collections will not be accessible through the catalogue. During this period, access to the digital collections and the submission of new digitisation requests is available via libservice@ugent.be

Pricing

A fixed fee applies for digital reproductions delivered as high-resolution files at 300 dpi. Reproductions are provided within 10 working days.

• A request for up to 5 images costs €10.
• A request for more than 5 images costs €10 plus €2 per additional image, capped at €100 per requestable unit.

All prices are exclusive of 21% VAT.

Delivery of alternative formats, resolutions, or image treatments may be possible upon request, in which case different rates will apply.
